Reseller Program

Reseller Program FAQ

Answers on leasing devices, using the check-in app and tracking software, billing, and growing your program.

Getting Started

Bail bond agencies, private probation and parole providers, monitoring companies, courts and pretrial programs, attorneys and new monitoring businesses can all apply. We review each application for fit before approving an account.

Submit the reseller application or reach out to our partner team directly. Most applications are reviewed within a few business days, with no cost to apply.

There are three. Lease & Run: you lease devices and bill your own clients. White-Label: the same, under your own brand. Referral: you refer clients and Guardian handles enrollment and billing. Compare them on the Reseller Program page.

Most partners are fully onboarded — trained, devices shipped, and software access live — within two to three weeks of approval, depending on program size.

Yes, with the White-Label option. The check-in app and tracking software run under your agency’s branding, so participants and courts see your name. Your name and logo appear on the participant check-in app, the tracking portal your staff use, and court-ready compliance reports. A one-time $299 branding setup applies.

No. There is no cost to apply and no obligation to proceed. A partner specialist follows up to confirm fit and tier before you commit to anything.

There are three, based on active devices. Starter is for 1 to 9 devices. Growth covers 10 to 49 devices with volume lease pricing. Regional Partner is for 50 or more, with custom lease terms. See the Reseller Program page for what each includes.

Guardian GPS supports supervision programs across the United States. Tell us where you operate on the application and our partner team will confirm availability, devices and timelines for your area.

Your organization's name and type, the states or areas you serve, a rough estimate of your expected caseload, the devices you want to lease, the tier you are leaning toward (if any), and a phone number and work email where our partner team can reach you.

We review it for fit, usually within a few business days. A partner specialist then follows up to confirm your tier. After that you sign your device lease, your agency account is set up on the check-in app and tracking software, your staff are trained, and your devices ship.

Yes. Call (336) 307-6162 or email support@trackpeople.net. Partner support is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm ET, and there is no obligation.

Devices & Leasing

Either. Most partners lease: leased GPS ankle monitors and alcohol devices stay owned by Guardian GPS, which keeps your upfront cost low, and we handle repairs, replacements and hardware upgrades as part of the lease. You can also buy devices outright and own them.

$5 a day for each GPS ankle monitor or alcohol device, and $2 a day for each House Arrest App participant. The rate includes the tracking software license and the check-in app. You monitor your own participants. See the lease program for details.

Yes. A Model X14 GPS ankle monitor is $450 and an alcohol device is $200. Once you own the device, the software license costs $2.50 a day per device while it is in use, half the $5-a-day lease rate, and nothing while it sits unused. Purchased devices have no unreturned fee and no warranty, so repairs are at your cost. An X14 pays for itself in about 6 months. Run your numbers in the lease vs buy calculator.

Report it to your partner support line right away. Lease terms cover standard wear and replacement. Devices not returned within 10 days of a case ending are $300 each, additional chargers are $75, and deliberately damaged units are billed at repair cost up to $300.

Yes. Your device lease flexes with your active caseload — add units as you take on new clients, and your account manager adjusts your tier as needed.

GPS ankle monitors and continuous or scheduled alcohol detection units. GPS watches and other hardware can be added to your lease as your program's needs grow.

Replacements ship promptly after a reported issue, and our team will confirm timing with you. Your team handles compliance situations directly in the tracking software.

The Model X14 ankle monitor provides multi-satellite GPS tracking, tamper detection on the strap and housing, configurable exclusion and inclusion zones, dual-network cellular with automatic failover, and a waterproof design rated IP68.

A clip-on charger tops up the battery while the device is worn, so it never has to come off to charge.

The ankle monitor switches between networks automatically, and it stores up to 72 hours of location history on the device if signal is ever lost, so the data is not missed once it reconnects.

Participants use a handheld breath-alcohol device with facial recognition. At a scheduled or randomly prompted time they give a breath sample, and the device captures a photo and GPS location with the reading. A fuel-cell sensor reads the result in under 15 seconds, and a positive reading goes straight to the assigned officer.

Software & App

Your account includes full access to our offender check-in app and monitoring software — the same tools we use internally to track locations, log check-ins, flag violations, and generate compliance reports.

Participants check in on the schedule your team sets — confirming their location at set times or on a curfew window. Missed or out-of-bounds check-ins alert your staff immediately.

Yes. Your account supports multiple staff logins with role-based permissions, so case managers, supervisors, and billing staff each see what they need.

Yes. Compliance and violation reports are generated automatically from tracked check-in and location data, formatted to hold up to court and agency review.

No. The Officer Dashboard is web-based and works in any browser on any device, so there is nothing to install.

Yes. Case managers draw and edit exclusion and inclusion zones on a map for each participant and can adjust them as conditions change. Curfew schedules are enforced automatically, with alerts when a participant is out of bounds.

Alerts arrive in the tracking software as soon as the device reports them, and you can route them to the assigned officer. How fast a violation is escalated depends on how your team runs its monitoring.

Yes. You can filter by caseload, status, or alert type to see what needs attention today. One click produces a court-ready compliance report for any participant or date range, and reports can also be generated automatically on a recurring schedule.

Billing & Support

Your cost for the GPS House Arrest App is $2.00 per day, and you can charge $150 per month. For the GPS ankle monitor and alcohol device with the monitoring software, your cost is $5.00 per day per device, and you can charge $300 per month.

On the House Arrest App your profit is about $90 per month. On the ankle monitor and alcohol device it is about $150 per month, based on a 30-day month and the rates above.

Some tiers include a one-time activation fee. A partner specialist will lay out the full cost breakdown, including lease and software pricing, before you commit to anything.

Guardian invoices you for each active participant, and you collect from your client. That is why most partners collect fees in advance, have the participant or a co-signer sign a payment and device agreement, and make monitoring a written condition of the bond or release.

Every tier includes the tracking software license, staff training and a partner support line for account, billing, and platform questions. Growth and Regional Partner tiers add a dedicated account manager.

Yes. Itemized lease and software invoices are available on request, and the platform includes built-in tools to bill your own clients.

Every reseller is assigned a dedicated partner support contact at onboarding, reachable through the Resellers department on our Contact Us page or the main support line, (336) 307-6162.

Lease and software pricing is not published online. Our partner team will give you the full cost breakdown for your tier before you commit to anything, and there is no obligation to proceed.

Partner support is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm ET. Resellers run their own monitoring, so device alerts go to your team in the tracking software.

Your team handles it first, since you run your own monitoring. Report faulty devices to partner support for a replacement. Don't remove or try to fix the device yourself, and our team will guide the next steps.

Security & Compliance

Yes. Location and event data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Monitoring data is available only to the assigned officer, court, or agency overseeing a program, and to the staff who operate the monitoring service. Access is role-based, so each person sees only what their role needs. Family members do not have access.

Yes. Every access and alert is recorded, so your program can show who saw what and when.

The GPS ankle monitor is FCC, IC, and CE compliant and rated IP68 for water resistance.

Yes. Courts, agencies, and resellers who need documentation for procurement, program setup, or audits can request it by emailing support@trackpeople.net.

It depends on your state, county and court. Many courts keep a list of approved providers, and some require a background check, business insurance or a written agreement. During onboarding we help you find out what your area requires. This is general information, not legal advice.

Growing Your Program

Yes. As your caseload grows, your account manager can move you to a higher tier at any time — there's no need to reapply or restart onboarding.

Yes. Reseller partners get access to co-branded marketing materials and a referral structure — your account manager can walk you through what's available at your tier.

Start with the judges, pretrial officers, defense attorneys and bail agents you already know. Show them you can fit a device quickly, that your team watches every alert, and that you can provide court-ready compliance reports. Your account manager can share co-branded materials.

There's no strict minimum to get started — the Starter tier is built for smaller caseloads, and you can move up as your program grows.

Yes. The Regional Partner tier is built for multi-office operators, with custom lease terms and on-site training as you expand into new locations.
