Four systems, one platform

Hardware, sensing, connectivity and security aren't separate products bolted together. Every signal runs through one platform built to work as a whole.

  1. Precision GPSMulti-satellite positioning with exclusion zones accurate to within a few meters, refreshed continuously.
  2. Verified breath testingA handheld breath tester confirms who took each test with facial recognition, a photo and the GPS location.
  3. Always-on connectivityDual-network cellular keeps every device reporting in, even where coverage is thin.
  4. Encrypted by defaultEvery signal is encrypted in transit and at rest, with role-based access for officers and partners.

How it works

From device to decision, in seconds

11:42 PM. The device has been quiet all evening.

The strap is cut

Strap-cut, stretch and housing sensors trigger an immediate alert to the monitoring center, along with the device's last known location.

The device reports

It keeps logging location as it moves. Fixes come every 30 seconds, and can be set as often as every 10 seconds during an active alert, accurate to 3 to 5 meters outdoors.

The platform analyzes

Our system checks the event against the participant's rules and flags it, and a live specialist in our 24/7 monitoring center reviews it.

The officer is alerted

The specialist routes the alert to the right officer, in under 60 seconds on average.

Illustrative timeline. Published targets: a GPS fix every 30 seconds (as often as every 10 seconds during an active alert) and an under-60-second average alert response.

Officer Dashboard

A live dashboard for courts and agencies: tracking map, exclusion zones, alert history and compliance reports, all in one place. This is the same screen your specialists and officers work from.

Court-ready reports

Clean, timestamped readings that hold up for probation reviews and court hearings, generated on demand.

Live tracking map

Every participant's current fix, zones and check-ins on one map, with alerts routed to the assigned officer.

Role-based access

Officers, courts and partners see only the caseloads they are responsible for, and every access is logged.

Exports that fit your system

Compliance reports export cleanly, and the platform can be configured to share data with the systems you already use.

  • Redundant power

Battery and generator backup keep the monitoring center running straight through outages.

  • Dual-network failover

Every device switches carriers automatically the moment one network drops, with no gap in reporting.

  • Geo-redundant data

Platform data is mirrored across multiple facilities, so monitoring never depends on one system.

  • 24/7 staffed monitoring

Three shifts, every day of the year, watching every device. See inside the monitoring center.

Built to standards courts can trust

Guardian GPS data is encrypted end to end, access is logged and role-restricted, and our platform is built around the reporting requirements courts and agencies already use.

Technical questions, answered

Location & Sensors

Devices use multi-satellite positioning accurate to within a few meters in most conditions, refreshed continuously, so an exclusion-zone violation is caught the moment it happens, not minutes later.

Tests are prompted on a schedule or at random. Each breath sample takes under 15 seconds, and every test is verified with facial recognition, a photo and the GPS location.

Strap-cut, stretch, and housing-breach sensors trigger an immediate alert to the monitoring center the moment tampering is detected, along with the device's last known location.

Connectivity & Reliability

Location and event data are stored on the device and sync automatically once connectivity returns. Anything that needs review is escalated to the monitoring center as soon as the device reconnects.

Devices alert the participant and the monitoring center well before the battery is depleted, giving enough time to charge without missing reporting windows.

The monitoring center runs on redundant power and network paths, and platform data is mirrored across multiple facilities, so monitoring doesn't depend on any single system staying up.

Data, Security & Integrations

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role-based and fully logged, and the platform is built around the reporting standards courts and agencies already use. See our Security & Compliance section for details.

No. Data is shared only with the assigned officer, court, or agency responsible for a participant's program, never sold or shared with outside parties.

The Officer Dashboard supports exportable compliance reports and can be configured to share data with the systems your court or agency already uses. Talk to our team about your specific setup.
